Orthotics designed and manufactured at Freeport Orthotics are made specific for each individual sport shoe or boot in order to enhance performance and comfort through an improved alignment of the foot, ankle and leg. The sport specific approach to the design and fabrication of the devices results in fewer injuries and an improvement in performance for the competitive athlete as well as the recreational player. Skiers for example, have reported the ability to get “on edge” more quickly and accurately when making turns in both directions. Skaters find crossovers more precise with the improvement in alignment and less overall foot and ankle fatigue. Turf athletes report a decrease in shin splints, ankle sprains and arch discomfort when wearing the properly designed and fitted orthotics.
