Freeport Orthotics Mission Focus:
Structure and Function.
I am all about aligning my practice with the reason I am in this profession. It is to advocate for the people who are walking through the door and sitting before me asking for help. So in turn, the question I first ask is, "How I can be most helpful to you?"
This initial meeting has a lasting impact and impression on both of us. I know that by truly listening to you, we can both go away knowing that we are building a positive foundation moving toward solutions.
This may be your first visit, or I may be the 10th practitioner that you have seen for the same problem. Like any other structure being built, we are building a working relationship. My aim is to merge my experience with where you are here and now. Together we will create a solution to help get you to your highest potential ability of function. Whether it is long walks, running, playing basketball, tennis, skiing, or standing on your feet all day. I understand you may share long histories of difficulty with active exercise and lots of discomfort. I will tap into my best skills to work through all of the complications, to be proactive with my knowledge and create a fresh approach.
I invite all the research you have done on your own. I will ask you what you know, and what you think. We can be educators and informants collaboratively. This is all to land you upright with what you are looking to achieve for a higher level of function and a more solid structure. If I cannot, I will certainly guide you to the right practitioner who can.
Getting a chance to assist you in regaining your active lifestyle is why I am doing what I do and I will learn from you in that process. That is also important to me, to gain more knowledge to help others as much as I will be helping you.
